Dec 5 Surgery

Postby dnbhd » 25 Dec 2013, 23:25

I recently had an anal fissure surgery and was told that a cutting seton would be placed around the fissure. My questions is in regards to itching.

I'm experiencing the same itching that I was prior to the surgery and I'm wondering if it's an infection.

Fissure or fistula? I think for fissure you would get more of a response on the fissure discussion board.

If he puts in a cutting Seton its a fistula with muscle interaction '
The Seton will cut through the muscle and hopefully fall out
