Oh no mbp, I'm sorry! You've come so far, it must be scary and tough to get through those bad days.

I managed to sleep 3 hours or so. Just woke up and took 5 mg morphine straight away, the pain is quite bad indeed, as expected. Trying not to go until the meds kick in a little.

I'm hoping it's not necessary for me to continue taking any laxative, I just want it out of my system now. I'm not passing clear liquid like the prep, but it is just liquid now, so I think it may be good enough...probably went a good 10 times after posting earlier.

I'm ready for this to all be over and to get in bed, but I think it will be another while before the diarrhea slows down.

Oh gosh Hun yes I would stop the laxative now if it's just clear liquid then your probably all clear in there now.
I can imagine how tired you are it's so draining literally to go that often let alone the fact that you can't sleep because of it.
Hopefully it will slow now and you can get some well needed rest.
I'm sure once this is done you will start to feel much better Hun

The surgeons office isn't open today...so I'm just going to stop taking it. It's not clear yet, but no solid at all and very thin liquid. Its not like I'm doing a prep for anything, and I think must have been cleared out enough for what they wanted to achieve. I'm too sore to go much more but it's still coming.

GG that's some good news, try some make sure you replace those electrolytes and minerals too... that will help as your recovering don't want to deplete those too much with all of the bathroom trips.. rest up!!!

Thanks guys. Will do mamafizz!

Seems to have slowed now, but it feels like I have tons of gas rolling around in there. Getting kind of crampy and very uncomfortable, can't seem to pass much. Took a gas x and snacked a little but not much improvement. Did get to sleep a bit more so that's good.

Thanks again for the help through this.

awesome news about passing those tennis balls....so sorry that you are dealing with so much residual pain

i agree...if you are passing water at this point there seems to be little need to finish the course of peg or other softeners...cant get much softer!

here's to a weekend full of healing for you!
