That's a bummer. I hate when I don't get any answers. Why wouldn't he let you get a second opinion? That is crazy.

I know it is discouraging but don't give up.

Oh my God, Lars - I hate to say this but your "new" CRS is a jerk !!!
What does he mean "he does not want to interfere with other CRS" ??? Did the whole world went crazy or what Image ! I mean, I got mad here just reading about it - I can only imagine your frustration since you were looking forward for this exam :( Image :( !!! I really hope you did not pay him for that visit !!!!???? Please Lars, don't give up - yes - go to another CRS by all means !!! Don't ever give up finding competent doctor - there must be one out there !!!!! If you live in a small town go on internet and find a doctor from some major hospital or medical school in your capital city and go there.
Believe or not, even here in the USA some of our members had to travel many miles away from home to find the doctor who knew what he/she was doing. It is sad, sad fact - but we have to do what we have to do Image !
I wish you painless day and I wish you luck in finding help soon Image

Yes he was very rude.... He even said that LIS was not used anymore and the nitro cream was 96% sucess full. What a load of crap...
I wil get my doctor to make a appointment with someone in Oslo I think. That is the capital in norway. There have to be someone there who can help me :) maybe I can come to the US or U.K to a CRS who have helped some off you :) No way if a damn ass I gonna rule my life.
I am in little pain for the moment. Just the usuall soreness and a little itch an burning. Maybe the botox is working after all...

Yeah, he's feeding you a line...that is crap!
Nitro is about 50 - 67% effective from all the sources I have seen...

sorry to hear that Lars. Unfortunately , being told a load of crap before finding a good doctor is an all too familiar story for most of us, myself included. Never give up, find someone you feel comfortable with and who listens to you, and knows what they are talking about.
Good luck!

Hey
Can burning come from a infection, fistula, abcess or scar tissue if the fissure is healed? I have no real pain just the damn burning.

When is the burning, is it after a BM or all the time???
If it is after a BM, and the BMs are loose or runny, then it is most likely the fissure....
