Hi,
Well I was out and bought some of the PlumSmart, I may start tonight with a 1/2 cup. Do you think night time is the best time? The bottles suggests starting your day with it.
I also got some Vitamin E Oil, couldn't find any wheat grass oil - was at the grocery store. How often does anyone apply it and when. Not sure how to do it while I am using the NIF ointment, I use that 2 - 3 times daily.

Jo,
Im not sure on the ointment. As far as the Plumsmart you will have to judge that on your own. My grandmother used to take her prune juice at night so I opted for night time. It may work better in the morning for you.

Hi Jo,
You can apply it together if you wish - none will effect the absorption of the other . When I had fissure I applied wheat germ oil inside the anus with Q-tip , but it was painful and did nothing for my fissure. I tried everything under the sun - about 20 different creams and potions - only Nitro and Nefidapine helped with pain and healing.
Best of luck !

I just pour some onto a tissue and apply it like that, just for lubrication and protection really.
I also use the diltiazem after my bath morning and evening

Dear Fiss, Val & Tabby,
Image
Thanks for sharing your tips and experience. They are all so useful. I also tried the q-tip, ouch! I was not good at that. It is very hard to see what you are doing.
I will try to use the Nif ointment along with the Vit E. After bathe would be great. Thanks.
You guys are all up so early (or maybe late) !
