Dear Corsi,
the nitro helping so much is a very good sign that LIS will work for you. Dont be pessimistic - all of us who have had LIS havent any regrets at all - and even if it doesn't cure you 100% (which I'm sure it will, by the way!!) the relief you get from that tight feeling makes it SOOOO worthwhile.
Once its all over, you will be happy! xx

I have written this in Tamara's thread, but since this is something I have thought about doing I would like others opinion on it:
I use Lactulose during the day and Movicol in the evening, I HATE using Movicol. I am so afraid it destroys/has destroyed my digestion... After surgery I will stop and only use Lactulose I think.
Do you think I can do that? Just stop?
Before surgery I will use laxatives and the first days after I plan on eating liquid food only.

My opinion is – That movicol is the safest long term laxative to take,
I do not believe it destroys ones digestion..

I wouldn’t just stop the movicol but wean down into smaller doses, you will need to take laxatives until you heal Corsi no getting away from that fact !
I would be thinking of ditching the lactoluse if anything!
Just my opinion :)
