I have had at least 10 enemas-maybe more. I had one doctor who insisted I do one before I go see him to make sure I was cleaned out. It isn't too bad. It does feel weird as the pressure builds from the fluid and you just HAVE to go but that is the point.

I didn't notice it making the fissure worse. The tube they put in is coated with ky jelly so it should drag on it or anything. I hope you can go on your own but if not, an enema isn't too bad. You can handle it!
