Day 6 post-op:

Bathroom in the morning. Still some seepage on the gauze. No burning after BM, but incision site is still swollen, less than previous days.

Itching from the incision site. Hoping that the leakage and swelling resolve soon.

Hi mojo,

No bleeding for me, but then again I rarely bled pre-LIS. I have been told by my CRS to expect bleeding in the first few weeks, so I believe it's normal mojo. How many days are you post-op?

Haha, that's fine.

I'm not a doctor mojo, but everyone on here would agree that 4 days post-op is very early to say anything. You should definitely give it more time and don't forget to follow up with your CRS so he or she can assess the wound and answer any questions you may have.

I'm 7 days post-op and still have clear/yellow leakage coming from the incision site, and therefore still have a gauze on. Pain is mainly from incision site, nothing compared to pre-LIS but I hope it resolves with time. I sincerely hope you're not having any pain mojo.

Day 8 & 9 post-op:

Burning after BM on the side of the incision. Not sure if from fissure site or incision site. No spasms. Discharge from the incision site. Still wear gauze.

Day 10 post op:

Very minimal pain from the incision site after my BM that diminished shortly thereafter, but can be felt when I press on the incision site.

Still have clear/yellow discharge, still wearing a gauze, and still taking stool softeners and sitz baths.
