I know how it is too feel like you are not healing right despite what the doctors think. I know it is not fun. I suffered for a whole year with my fissure and about 5 doctors told me I was fine - YET I KNEW THEY WERE ALL WRONG!!! You should get another opinion just for piece of mind. make the appointment now and still go to your other CRS appointment next week (is it this week or next week?). Do you think that possibly the pink tissue is new growth? Is the hole the only part left that still hurts? I REALLY hate to say the "only part that still hurts" because we both know that one small cut down there is enought to make a grown man cry.
So you gave up your photography job for a art career? I am sure your CRS will always remember you for that. But hey - it worked! I know what my butt looks like so well that if I saw it with a 1000 different butts I could pick it out.
I hope tomorrow brings more healing and less pain for you darling!

Thanks buddies for understanding - that is what helps me the most right now in dealing with this-
Maybe I should go for second opinion !!! I have the app. at 22nd , but I remembered tonight that he made app. for me on the day of surgery for the 18th - I will call in the morning to see if they maybe forgot to cancel that app. so I can go earlier. Now is the question whom else to see :roll: . I will not go to local girl who told me just to sit on something hard when my tag started to bleed last month , that is for sure. I can not go to my original surgeon because he is so rough and has horrendous bad manners and would definitely faint if he heard I trusted somebody else more than him - his ego would just blow up . The only other CRS is my SF CRS , but she always told me not to do this surgery and she knows this CRS so it would be "funky" situation. The only other guy might be the one that Sorerumpy recommended - maybe I could call him - hmmmmm... I would get app. probably in December LOL though !!! I don't know - will try things tomorrow !!!

:( :( aww Fiss, what a nightmare. I hope you find someone who will know whats wrong, its crazy having to keep on hurting just because the doctors aren't clever enough to know what to do. How about the Mayo place? Aren't they the gold standard? I'm so sorry you're going through this.

We all feel for you Fissy, and we know that suffering with buttpain 24/7 is so terrible - it takes all your energy..., but you have to remember that this pain will go away. You had so much done Fissy dear that your pain is almost impossible to take. I don't pray, but today I might just to that...

A second opinion before you go back to laser guy may be helpful, I hope you can find someone and get an appointment pronto....
