Well, it sounds like maybe theworst of the diarrhea is over?? Let's hope so!
The leakiness has me a bit worried, have you discussed it with your CRS or GP, Pinky?
Well, in this economy, I wouldn't call it bad luck. I hope you can find ER work, and soon!

My crs mentioned that the leakiness will resolve with time but i havent seen him since december.I thought it would go away with time as it was slowly decreasing. Now im more worried.im doing some exercises and i dont think there's anything else i can do about it.i will discuss it with my gp though i doubt they will know anything more than i already do.

How are you doing Pinky, so sad to read that you had a setback. I hope the diarrhea has gone away. Tell us...
Hope your shower is fixed because that's the best and most gentle way to clean the area. Remember to keep it dry...
Wish you the best sweetie Image always!

Oh Pinky! I would find out how much "time" this doctor means! Is there leakiness even when your stools are solid and well-formed?

Thanks everyone.Im better now.i used vaseline as a barrier for he leaking for a few days and it helped.i kept it dry and its less sore now.some dullache and soreness sometimes.Ive reduced the movicol to half a sachet, thats 1 tsp and magnesium 300mg.The BMs are well formed and soft.Sometimes the beginning is hard to come hard and i fear but then the rest becomes soft.Back to the diet again.i think i was eating spicy food which burnt and caused the abrasions on the skin.its healing now.Another reminder that i have to follow all the rules and never go off the fibre diet and no spicy food.the shower is fixed.washing in the bath tab with a mug wasnt very helpful.Kim- havent seen the crs again. Its the residue stools which leaks.i think normally the sphincter shuts but when the muscl is damaged,it wont close immediately. Its very less when the stools are well formed.it all comes off in the shower.leaks more if its loose.i will wait for another 2-3 months and if it still persists,i will see the crs.Im doing the exercises which might help. How are you all doing?does anyone know hows lecia doing?

That figures that it will leak more when loose, Pinky. But I am glad that you are managing it, especially with the vaseline barrier. Surely it will improve over time. I think reduing the movical was a great idea, and of couorse, staying on the AF diet Thanks for checking in and the update, I was wondering!

Hi All,
I was unable to open any page after logging in a few times last week.I got a job in the ER as junior doctor for 3 months initially.I started work last wednesday and its been hectic.Very stressed out managing long hours and odd shifts along with my son.he's coping ok but misses me a lot.he keeps askn my hubby for me.he'll get used to it and even i hate staying away from him.
I have loose stools before going to work due to stress.i have already had 4 bms snce morning.
I may not be around much initially till i get used to work.I will write whenever i can.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Thanks guys for all your support. This day wudnt have come if not for u all here.
