Image sorry to know you are suffering since a year.you should see the crs first.your best option would be botox or LIS depending on your fissure as its been a year.continue with fibre diet, warm baths and laxatives.
have you made an appointment to see the crs?good luck

Hello,
Corsica good luck on your botox, when you say third one does that mean 3 shots of botox? How many shots/treatments does one usually have and what are the side effects? Thank You! :D

Pinky,
Thank you, I have an appt. with the CRS tomorrow so I will make another post. My fissure has healed and opened several times but fortunately the pain has not been as bad as some of yours and others here. How are you doing? Didn't you have LIS recently? Image

Thanks for the advice everyone,
I have a follow-up in 6 weeks but even with soft bm, the fissure will sometimes bleed, I guess it's just the way it hits the fissure sometimes. Good Luck to all of you with your fissures, I will keep you updated.

mr. fissure, you may want to consider squatting on the toilet for a period of time. it helped me overcome the way the bm would come out and make it a bit easier for things to pass without causing too much irritation.
