Kim -
Thanks so much - it is so nice to hear that others think this is normal - it puts my mind at ease!!
I am so lucky that I never get constipated anymore. I have been having 1 - 2 BM's a day for about 5 months now. In my pre fissure days, I went every 3-5 days and thought everything was normal!!

Hey Jen :'\;redbud: ,
How are you doing? Has the mucus thing gotten better?
I was out walking tonight and thought of you. All of the lilacs are blooming and smelling really good. I picked some and brought them in today.
Hope you are well...Take care.

Hi Jo!!! :hi:
I bet the lilacs smell so good! I wish I had some! I just have to resort to buying the lilac sented lotion and candles. :(
I still have the mucus thing. It is more white/clear than it used to be - maybe a sign of healing! I feel great and have no pain so I doubt it is an infection. The mucus also looks real healthy - just 1 drop of blood in it. I think my internal wound from the RBL is just taking its sweet time to heal.
How are you feeling? Getting better? Image

Hi Jen,
Wish I could send you some lilacs, you deserve some!
It sounds like things are healing well for you, I am so glad. Image 1 drop of blood in white/clear mucus sounds like things are on the way of being pretty normal. Hoping the blood will be gone very soon.
I am starting to feeling great! The nifidipine ointment must be letting me heal, things definitely feel looser and less tense. Sometimes I felt this day would never come, really I felt this was going to go on forever. It is a relief to know things can heal and I hopefully can keep on healing without any other procedures. I am going to try hard to keep the good diet along with fiber, water, walking, etc. so I don't have any constipation issues again. Wonder if I'll need miralax forever? I want to try MOM but it is scary to try when the miralax is working so well, but it is a little expensive.
Have a great day Jen!

Thanks Tabby Image ,
I will stay with the miralax for awhile, you are right, it is working and I don't want to go backwards.
How are you doing? Hope you are well. Your mood is hopeful so that is good!!
Take care...

Jen, have you spoken with your GP about the mucus thing? If it's been going on this long, I'd want to know why....
