This is the cycle I go through.... Major pain, then not so bad, then okay ish.... It goes on and on. I think that the surgery can and will end it once and for all. The fissure monsters always trick us and when we think all is okay they strike again. Your hubby sounds like he is really supportive. When is your surgery booked? Xxx

Hi Rachael ! I had surgery yesterday morning.it went well thanks be to God.yes my hubby is the one who push me to do the surgery and I cried and cried about it but he did not gave up on my fear.so I made it.hope that my recovery will be a breeze...

That's great! It sounds as though you are truly on the mend. Keep going - you seem to be doing everything right.

The most prob I have is to drink a lot of water make me nauseous.any advice?

Hi Ann......was just wondering how you were doing today and logged on, delighted to see you are doing ok....I wouldn't worry about coffee but would avoid coffee made on boiled milk as I think boiled milk can constipate you it does to me anyway but you will find over time that you will be able to eat anything you like with no bad effects.......I had half a banana first time in 2 years as they always gummed me up but it was perfect. I've even started going twice a day and for the first time in my life it's the most natural process which it should be.....I was always envious of people who could just go without any difficulty but that's me now Alleluia !!

Thanks for asking yes I am totally cancer free.......again Alleluia had breast cancer, mastectomy / chemo / rad therapy and planning reconstruction now that my fissure is fixed but going to have to be v careful not to get constipated after surgery, the anaesthetic *and morphine always gums me up........

By the way have you tried drinking some juices instead of water ? Keep up the great work !

Juice sounds like a good idea - try diluting the juice so you aren't getting so much sugar - it might help stabilize your stomach. Maybe try a herbal tea, like mint? Mint is very good for nausea. So is ginger.

hi loves tennis!I am doing good thank you for asking.you know its so funny when they say that banana is high in fiber,but banana gave me constipation.you,ve been through a lot but God is good all the time...I will start drinking juices.thank you for the advice.one more thing.does tea makes you constipated?I drink 3 cups today and im so worried about it.
