Student, I'm so sorry to hear this. I was hoping that your post was going to bring good news. Has the CRS recommended anything for the fissure or are you just concentrating GI issues? Good luck I'll be thinking about you.

thanks apes. my CRS said the fissure wont improve until the diarrhea and inflammation are under control. but personally i think my GI would have done a better job treating the fissure, and maybe would have set up this appointment earlier when i was complaining to the nurse about constant diarrhea for a week.

is also very very hard to eat 3-4000 calories a day. im struggling to get over 1500.

I hope it's like a son leaving home… If you don't hear from them they are doing well...

it just a flappy skin tag that seems to swell with hot water. I still have diarrhea 3 or 4 times a day from the crohns. the pain is killing me. it feels like there are multiple fissures from all the abuse and trauma. like they keep healing and popping up, maybe a retear? baths help a bit, so does the nitro. i want to try coconut oil but how do you keep it solid?? i found that hovering over the toilet instead of sitting makes it slightly less painful. the worst is when the diarrhea is explosive omg. i am happy the pain doesnt linger for more than a couple mins, except for the occasional spasm

Hi!
Coconut oil: Put it in the fridge, and it will turn solid. When you want to use some, scrape some out with a spoon. Take the oil between your thumb and first two fingers and either try to form it into a ball, and them massage into your skin.
I just made suppositories, where I added a few essential oils. I got the info from the Optimal Health Network.
Feel better

I had a retear last night. It hurt so bad, more so than in the past few weeks. I am very upset about it because I wa making progress and it feels like ive just undone the past couple weeks worth :(
