Yes - no prescription needed. Where do you live? Some places it's called miralax, movical, restoralax - its chemical name is polyethylene glycol 3350.

Please invent a cure :) I have problem with fissure 2 years, i had a lot of pain and blood, now every day before sleeping i eat 2x orange and other morning i have soft stool, also i mixed olive oil and linseed oil and put on anus. I was without big fissure 6 months, but in this six months i had 3 little fissure with no pain, just a little cut with a little blood. Every day i think on this fissure, sometimes it's very hard how i feel, no sometimes, often :( , Sorry if my english is bad.

I always had pain while I had bm, but lucky once a day or max twice, don't let yourself down, try yoga and meditation if you got by chance, I did relaxation yoga 4-5 times a week, much better, even I would like to cry in toilet but life has to go on, need to work, to survive, good luck Katie and hope that we all can be getting better, cheers up,
