My CRS did mention that increased bleeding can come with more "granulation tissue" or healing . But to me blood = bad news. Oh well I guess we should believe it could be positive signs . Power of positive thinking.

Ok folks there will be blood I guess but pain was better , more of a little burn and managed to work along work day. There is still the stinging till noon and there is still some blood. So just continue to hope. Don't know what the future holds - but will take what comes.

That's great that the pain is decreasing and no spasms have come along, it all sounds like positive progress for you. I'm sure it will continue this way...small steps but in the right direction

Thanks MPB . Survived a brutal work day. Time for my bath! I think the best part about fissures is the enforced R&R with the baths !!

Do you know that's the worst thing for me lol. I hate the baths...laying in hot water gets me agitated, I keep my baths to a minimum if I can and just sit with the shower over the area...gosh what a lovely life we lead lol.
Hope you manage to have a restful Saturday and the pain continues to decrease
Take care

Thanks much for the wishes. Overdid the laxatives I think or maybe my Botox is kicking in but today was running back and forth and overall rather rough. Now I know how u and others feel MPB. Still pain was reasonable and 2 for most of the morning now more of an awareness of the bottom that will likely stay with me all my life till I have a worse affliction to focus on - still some bleeding but staying positive .
Later then

That's the thing isn't it finding the happy medium. Really starting to the we should expel waste like an owl does...looks much less painful lol.
Oh so pleased you are down to a 2 even after a few extra BMs that is really good news.
Yes I was thinking that last night I found myself laid in bed actually focusing on my posterior to see if I could feel an increase in pain...stopped that quickly lol
Speak soon

Today was my most easy day yet. I must say that I laid off the miralax for a bit but the colace and I are still on. I have been having full and busy days at work but am remembering to hydrate. I am almost done with week 3 and I can only summarize the weeks by saying this
With Botox progress is measured in weeks and not in days. Patience , perseverance and positivity but never complacency always remember to do the right things regarding diet and moderate exercise . I still don't know what the future holds and so the important thing is also to take it one day at a time. Not worry too much . What will be will be.

So glad you are continuing to improve even though you are back at work.
Like you I guess it's now going to be a lifetime level if awareness of diet and hydration levels to ensure there aren't any setbacks.
Fingers crossed the improvement continues
