Thinking of and praying for you, xxstaciexx! We all are. You can do this! Soon it will be over and you can concentrate on healing and getting better.

Hang in there and good luck. *lots of big hugs* : )
January 2013 - Diagnosed with fissure. Eventually turned chronic.
History of IBS and anxiety disorder, along with fear of using bathrooms other than my own caused it.
Tried Diltiazem, but eventually developed a rash.

Awesome! Congrats on finally going through with it. : ) You are very brave and I hope you are doing well relaxing at home.

Let us know how it went when you are up to it. In the meantime, rest up and take it easy! You are on your way to healing!

Hi everyone!!!
I am back home now.
Pre op was okay, saw the surgeon and anaesthetists they were lovely. Really nice! Went through everything what they were going to do.
Said they would do the lis surgery, banding hems and also removal of skin tag.
I was a bit nervous but my consultant was really nice. Explained the whole lot to me bless him.
The nurse then gave me a fleet enema. I wasn't expecting this lol so I went into panic mode lol. Wasn't nowhere near as bad as I thought tbh! Held it in for 10 mins then dashed to the loo haha.
Nurse walked me down to theatre and I was put into the little room with the anaesthetists. They then put the cannula in my hand. Didn't hurt just a bit uncomfortable as I hate those things!
They then started flushing things through the cannula and again I went into panic mode which meant my heart rate was mental! Lol.
They called me down loads which was good and then put a mask over my face and they said Stacie we will see you soon!! Lol.
I remember waking up then in the assessment room with a nurse I think chatting away asking how I was etc. I felt quite a bit sick but she explained they had given my pain meds etc so that was prob why and gave me some anti sickness through my cannula. This was great. Really helped! Felt better then within a few mins.
The only feeling I had was I felt like I really needed to poo! Lol sorry tmi!! But that's honestly how it felt was weird. Not painful just uncomfortable feeling. Told the nurse she says its cus I have a load of packing up inside my bum!! Eeek. Doesn't sound too great haha.
Anyways they took me back up to my room and let me have some water which was nice I was so thirsty!!
Next thing I know the nurse is bringing me some toast and a nice cuppa! Service at its best haha!!
So I had those both. Sickness has totally gone now.
Got me dressed! Oh forgot to say they give u these really funky fish net pants lmao. Not too bad but not comfy really haha.
And they had sellotaped a sanitary towel to my backside eeeekk
So I waited then for my lift home.
I home now, feel okay tbh! Pain is very minimal only way I can describe it is like a pressure sort of pain. Maybe a 1 out of 10 which is good so far! Probably cus I'm still very numb there hopefully that lasts a while too lol.
Will update again later on today too!
