Yes they told me take them every four hours. I just had taken a long nap so skipped that one. I do have pain in the rump, but I'm sure that is to be expected. Today is a day of rest. Tomorrow I will walk a little bit and so forth. If I didn't have IBS so bad I'd probably feel better.

RM, one day at a time, each day passes your closer to healed. Keep hanging in there you got this..

GG how are you doing lately?

the specialist told me that I am having most likely surrounding muscle issues, and the inflammed veins higher up cause extra pulling on these muscles up to the tailbone, recommended something for this, trying it as soon as I get it. Its a bioflavoid diosomen or something like that! What a journey we are on...Praying for our continued healing!! We are on the path:)

Hi mamafizz - let me know how that works!

I'm not great, I had a very bad couple of days after my MRI, since I had to drink a laxative for it. The soreness has gone down a little and I was able to sit up for a bit today, however my ibs is bad. And I suddenly burst a huge blister on my buttcheek getting out of a chair today! No idea how I got the blister, but it is not near the anus, so I'm hoping it's unrelated. Maybe I fell asleep on my heating pad or something...but will be heading back to the doctor next week to get it checked out.

I am also going to be asking for either gabapentin or amytryptaline for pain, as my physio believes my pain needs to be under better control for her to able to do some real work. Right now my muscles are way too hyper reactive.

I have begun to see a very well renknowned pain management psychologist, and I have my second session this week. I will soon be making a diary to document anything useful I learn there in case it helps others.

How are you feeling today mamafizz?

Hi! Well I am having a lot of pain as soon as I stand for a few minutes it starts to kick in.. Its that same problem with the high up knot and like spasms, (different than the fissure) must be thrombose or higher up hem0rhoids. (most likely caused from the botox surgery) And it puts those levator muscles in spasms. I did get the cramp bark here is the info. http://www.rjwhelan.co.nz/herbs%20A-Z/crampbark.html and if the tightness of these cramped muscles relax it will surely cure this, God willing! Also the bioflavanoids are suppose to help the new cellular health in our areas with blood flow and veins so all will work properly again. Please share anything you find helpful we can all help each other. For me I am going to embark on a new lifestyle path, and take better care I suppose we can look at this as a new beginning, we are meant for better things!!! I don't know how you are able to sit down?! I still have not sit down since Botox... prior to I could side sit at least.. HOw are you able to sit?!

PS The blister sounds like it came from the heating pad, most likely a little aloe will take care of that.

Also I did forget to mention I bought GABA which is a natural supplement did not take yet, Trying not to introduce too many things at once, I am going to start with Bioflavanoid then the Cramp Bark and then if need be the Gaba. Seems as though this condition causes extreme anxiety and it does need a combination of personal, spiritual and physical healing. Of which we are all capable of. I guess the old days of A Double Chocolate Milkshake are over!! Fun while it lasted. At least I am eating healthy lost 55 pounds Now I could stop losing and just stay like this

. Still funky about eating, the Dr I talked to said it's like getting out of a bad relationship... lol with the bathroom, instills fear and other emotions etc.. so the Psych Dr will most likely have some valuable coping skills etc. it does throw you for a loop... We are getting stronger having gone through this though I am sure.!

Hello girls,
Well I don't feel great but I sure don't have that different kind of excruciating pain. Today was the BM day and so far I have had 4. It's good to not have a big bloated belly but 1-2 would have been okay. I am feeling very positive about the outcome and healing process. One day time. How is everyone else doing?

Hi RM
Hey congrats you got through the first (few) BMs and if your not getting too much pain after 4 BMs then you sound like the op has really worked for you.
Keep going the first few days can be tough and some anesthetists aren't as gentle as they could be when inserting the tube.
In a few days you will feel much better and can start to live pain free again. I would advise taking the pain meds if you need them as sometimes our nerves can be super sensitive in that area and it's not great to get into the pain cycle
Super good luck and I'm so very glad your on the road to recovery

Hi MF
Just a thought for you I tried the cramp bark and shockingly enough it upset me...I'm sure it will really help you. But one thing that does help and I have gone back onto even though it's extortionately expensive is CBD oil it really does help with spasms...not sure if you can get it where you are but it's worth googling it if the cramp bark doesn't help
