Good luck, Fiss. You know we are all having problems but we aren't back to where we were when we first joined the forum. We are starting from a much better place so hopefully we will heal more quickly now. That's what I keep telling myself.

AAAHHH! What is up with everyone this week! Its like a bad car pile up...just one setback after another here on the fissure forum! Fiss - I can't believe this happened! I am sure it is nothing too bad -skin tag issues. I hope you get in the CRHCenter soon and let us know whats happens!

fissy, if your skin tag is anything like my laverne and shirley, they will pop every now and then and bleed and then they get skinny, like if they were fasting or something......
it's a cycle.....

Yes, this was crazy week for many here - must be some "sun spots" are erupting or something and mess up with magnetic field down here or something !!!!
Garreth - my tag is not deflating :( , actually it is bigger than usual ...
I had exam and scope and CRS saw little tiny hole n the verge of the anus and beginning of the skin tag. She had no idea why it is bleeding and it was not bleeding during exam (darn !!!!!). She saw tiny vane coming down the colon and right into that place but she said it was very thin and not at all inflamed or enlarged so it is not hemorrhoid - it is completely normal looking and tiny. My fissure is completely closed but this tiny hole is on the very end of the former fissure . She probed really well and I had no pain. Nothing came out from anywhere. The only thing that she saw was that tiny hole and that the tag is inflamed - irritated ! She tried slowly to suggest that maybe we will need to remove the tag probably thinking that I would freak out but I jumped on that opportunity and she seemed relieved . She wants me to try cortisone cream only on the tag to see if it will calm down , but I think that she has to try it because of the insurance before we proceed with real solution. She also confirmed what i already knew that my sphincter is very strong still. So, I have app. in 3 weeks again and if this thing is not behaving it is going to be chopped off !
Thank you guys for every calming word - I appreciate it beyond words can describe . I will go to sleep now - I am exhausted , Oh, buy the way I had one BM at 1 pm and there was just some pinky stuff, but after I went at 10 PM there was some blood - but I am not surprised after such detailed exam - I thought I would bleed much more !!!!

Glad you managed to get an appointment and theres no infection. Once they chop it off at least it cant cause you any more grief! Keep a watch out for any change in it though in the next 3 weks. My skin tag got infected and I didn't realise because the GP said it was ok.These things are better treated sooner rather than later! Hope you have a good day today with no bleeding.

fiss - it sounds like you have pretty much the same problem i have. a small hole at the end of where the fissure was, that refuses to heal. the only difference is that i actually had my skin tag removed and i'm having a small amount of drainage from the wound. my next step if the silver nitrate doesn't work to heal this wound is to have the skin in that area excised (it's almost grown into a new, much smaller skin tag), and clean the area out so it can start healing fresh again. it sounds to me like the same basic idea as your dr gave you, except you'd be removing your skin tag for the first time.
anyway, sorry you're still suffering. it's not fair!
