I am feeling better as the days go by but still needing more time.

We'll that's not good your CRS is out of state. Any idea where he went to?

And what are these probes you speak of? That does sound scary.

Yeah this takes time. I have put up posters in my bathroom and bedroom which have "Be Patient" in bold. I guess we have to just wait it out.

Guys at the hospital said he has gone to perform some surgeries up north, mainly Delhi .

So my CRS checks the internal healing through a small proctoscope. I call them probes. Very alien like but nothing scary. He is very careful and sensitive with it as he understands that anxiety brings spasms. The new guy seemed too young so I thought of postponing the follow-up till my trusted guy comes back.

I had a friend from Delhi.

I remember I used to go over to his home after school when I was younger and we would eat this sweet sticky candy like dessert. I forgot what it is called.

Any idea?

I am nearing the end of my 3rd week but still have discomfort and a bit of pain during BM.

Halwa? Is it red and stringy and really sticky like it's dunked in syrup?

It was really yummy but sweet.

I'm 10 weeks post op but still have some slight burning and discomfort. My CRS says my wound is all healed up but I still can't sit comfortably. I hope this gets better with time.

You seem to have recovered quickly Jai just the other week you were saying you had some pretty bad bleeding. I guess it's that Biolite Tech procedure your CRS used has worked really well!

Then it's not Halwa. I guess it's Murabba. Yeah Mike, that bleeding and pain in my 2nd week was horrible. But as soon as I changed my meds from Flagyl to a mild antibiotic and stopped taking Ibuprofen, the bleeding stopped.

Now in my 3rd week, my pain score went down steeply from 9 to a tolerable 4/5 ... On good days even 2.

But honestly, I feel the Laser surgery without the incision is really showing it's results. I actually had a Hemorrhoidoplasty as well along with my LIS. Hemorrhoidoplasty causes a bit of bleeding due to the banding.

I am also expecting the discomfort to continue for at least 12 weeks. It's a game of patience. My best wishes and prayers are with you to heal soon to visit Delhi again for dessert !

No I don't think it's Murrabah I just looked that up. But looks very similar but it's stringy and not made of fruit. I think it was a stringy dough deep fried and dunked in a red / orange syrup.

Hi Mike, Just had my follow up done on Tuesday. So according to my CRS, my surgical wound has healed around 70%. The skin tag site is still sore and may take more time to heal. He has given me 3 more weeks to feel completely normal. So yesterday I began my 4th week. I am off all meds except a probiotic supplement for better digestion. But I do need to take a pain killer in the morning before leaving for work. It's a annoying discomfort that stays after a BM.

How are you healing up ???

Anybody’s surgeon recommend to continue using diltiazem or nitroglycerin after LIS? I’m wondering if I should start mine back up for awhile so that I don’t return to my original tightness.
