I’ve had a set back... I was doing really well and felt well on the way to healing. Very disappointed now. Sigh.

Owmybum have you tried taking Zink pills and or oestrogen pills I read online both of these can help with skin and poor wound healing. Depending on your age menopause can hinder wound healing due to a lack of oestrogen. Thats just things I've googled just thought I tell you. Hopefully this setback is a small one but I completely know how set backs feel like the world is ending it's a horrible painful cycle and I'm here for you your not alone :smilyhug:

Thanks missy,
That’s interesting about the oestrogen..... I’ve been peri menopausal for about 2 years now.. I wonder if taking it will help. I take zinc and vitamin c.
It’s quite a nasty set back, feels super sore and burning. I can always gauge how bad things are if it still hurts when I lay down.... and at the moment it does.
So on it goes.........

I’m so glad that the Botox has helped you so much... I have everything crossed it fully heals this time xxxx

owmybum sorry to hear that. I really hope it settles down again soon. Owmybum - I see you did pelvic floor therapy. Did it help? I'm seeing someone at the moment. I think it is helping but it's slow.
Also how on earth do you add those comments about your treatments etc at the bottom of your profile?!

Nearly 5weeks since my second round of Botox and things are good I've lost track of time. How's everyone doing?

I did how a stomach bug 2 days ago which has left my behind feeling swollen an with a bit of an ache which is starting to fade but I think that's just because of having diarrhoea for 24hrs and my hemorrhoids have just flared up I get achy like this after having diarrhoea so I don't think it's the fissure at all and I've had no pain during or after bms none of that horrible Razer Blade pain. Thank goodness.
