Hi missy,
sorry to see you are still suffering after all this time.
I have recently had a re tare of my old fissure after 18 months of being pain free. To say I’m devastated is an understatement!

Thanks Sue. It’s been a couple of years. I’m crushed this has happened again.
I didn’t even have a hard bm… it was just a bit slow… like everything had gone into spasm.

How have you been?

The site just lost two posts. I don’t know why it said I wasn’t logged in when I was - twice!!!
I won’t write much in case it happens again.
I hope you heal fast as you’ve been so well for a long time.
Second - I’m up and down. I’m healed but I get pain, I know another in forum who is similar. It’s tension related. It comes and goes. Hopefully I can rid myself long term of it. There’s not much doctors can do they say nothing to fix.

Hi suemac how are you? Hope your feeling better.
I'm doing ok looking back on my post it looks like i had a flear up on the 25th an then a 2 day fear up on the 16 of Nov now I'm having a minor irritation day yesterday an today from slow fudgy bm no blood thank god but just a bit of irritation during bm an some of that needle picks twitching spasms here an there. Hopefully its gone tomorrow since last fear up was quick to reheal. My worry is that i mite not ever get any medical help for this anymore since I'm in NZ and things are going crazy here some people who are un vaxd for cov-19 are being turned away from gos an hospitals. I'm not vaxd so I've got to get myself healing naturally.

Hi Missy. I live in the Chicago area. My area mostly takes Covid seriously and we have a mask mandate for all public businesses but restaurants are open indoors and the President says it's unlikely the country will lockdown again. I just had the Moderna booster a month ago. Everything is much better on the Covid front compared to last year. The masks are annoying but actually are helpful with the cold air now. I am hopeful the new Covid antivirals coming out will be cleared for use right away as they are considered game changers.

When I look back to last year, I had my surgery in October when things were still somewhat serious but I never had an issue getting into the hospital. In the states we may have to pay a lot for health insurance but one good thing is we are not usually treated like cattle when we need help asap. I talked with someone from Canada on this board that has to wait 12-18 months for her LIS! That is crazy! She was thinking about having her LIS done here and just paying for it so it could be done right away.
