I don't see why they don't just treat you presumptively. I think Jen is right, maybe just see your regular GP and get some antibiotics.

Hello everyone
I continue to have very strong burning. No pain just burning al day long.
Maybe I have Anusitis

I have looked for anurex in Norway but it is of course nowhere to be found :(

Perhaps! But would it cause the sphincter spasms which are driving you nuts?

possibly. If there is not fissure it might be anusitis. If you do have a fissure they commonly burn as does the area around them. In my experience, before LIS, it was not just the fissure area that stung, but the anal canal also. That stopped immediately with LIS.

I have always had the burning since I got the fissure but I find it very strange it has not disapered since the pain is gone. Of course it can still be the fissure and I have clencing of the anus still. Guess it is the spasm.
If I start using anurex it will decrease blood flow in the rectum so I don`t think that is a good idea before I know the fissure is completly healed.
I took a big icecube and hold it by the anus today. Damn it was reliving for a while :)
Does anyone know if you can cure Anusitis og will it always be there?

As everything Lars - it can go away or it can stay - but I think that it is premature to speculate about it since you don't even know if you have it buddy : ) ! I think that it is just the irritation from the fissure, creams and Botox combined and that it will go away as soon as you heal completely : ) !!!!

when my burning would get really bad i would dab some hydrocortizone in the area. I would only do this occasionally though, becasue it can thin the skin.

Lars, you know you actually want to *increase* blood flow into the anus, right? It is the one most crucial thing you can do to get the fissure to heal, and it is why LIS is usually so effective, because once the sphincter relaxes, the blood can flow to the fissure site more freely again.
So yes, if the anoheal decreases the blood flow, it can't be good...
