Pinky, here in the US the RDA is 60 - 120 mg. But half a gram (500 mg) or even 250 mg should be OK, as it is a water soluble vitamin and you will pee it out pretty quickly. So it's best to spread your dose out over the day *if* you can, for the same reason.
B vitamins are also water soluble, so they should be spread out too, but if you are eating whole grains you are getting at least some of your RDA for them.
E, D, and K are fat soluble, so they should never be taken in excess unless prescribed by a doctor.
Minerals will also tend to build up in the body, so they too shoul dnot be taken in *excess* but certainly need to be present in the diet in some form.
