I am happy that physically you are doing better and can rejoice that your butt is only mildly uncomfortable. Sometimes when we are used to being in a constant state of discomfort/anxiety it is hard to break even when the stressor starts to subside. I keep a happiness journal and I try to write down the good things that happen so when I start to feel discouraged I can look and see that there were some good things that I could be encouraged by. If you find that you do that and it doesnt help I wonder if you are clinically depressed and might benefit from anti-depressants. I know, as a doctor, you probably don't like laymen giving you advice on this kind of stuff but you have been through a lot. You could have post-partum depression that was masked by all the butt pain and trauma.
I hope your toncillitis goes away quickly. You must be so run down. Can you hire a babysitter that can come in and watch your son while you lie down during the day? Maybe a college student?
Take care!
