Hi buddy Image ! Thanks sooo much for the name of the product and the link, now I can print out the stuff and smack it in her table Image She NEVER HEARD OF THE TREATMENT , believe it or not Image !!!
My heart sometimes skips a beat, sometimes it just makes weird rhythms that I can feel - not a pleasant sensation for sure :( .
I tried Fe pills and got mushy poop and hat to go 5 times a day and that irritated my butt VERY much Image - I almost had a real setback - this one was a half way, but still I can feel some irritation and I was sooooooo well for soooo long that his is driving me nuts now Image .
Thanks Corsi - and I hope you will feel much better VERY soon Image Image Image !!!

Oh, I forgot that iron tablets can cause soft/liquid pooh as well. I can relate to your frustration Fissy, my GP gave me different types of advice as well (take a pill every other day, etc.). They really must have problems understanding how painful fissures are, and how little can cause a major setback. I tried iron tablets on vacation this summer - three days in a row - that was not fun!!!
The fact that going to the toilet several times a day can cause major fissure problems as well, is another thing docters have hard time understanding. Multiple BMs are bad for my fissure, that's for sure....
Don't give up Fissy, finally you will find a doctor that will give you an iron infusion.
Take care Image

PS: It feels good to be able to give you a tip for once :) You always give us good advice, do research for us, etc.....

Thanks Corsi Image
You are absolutely right ! Nobody that did not have a fissure can understand how much frustration it is to have one :( and one can clearly see sometimes in the eyes of a doctor that "smirk" in the eyes and the smile and almost can "hear" their thoughts : " This one has nothing better to do but think about poop and look at her feces whole day". "I have people here dying of cancer and going through chemo and she complains abut butt irritation and iron pills , what a twit "!!!
So we comply at the end with what "doctor prescribed" just to show that we are not "twits" only to find ourselves in agony of pain again and in complete humiliation and feeling of helplessness and even self loathing for not listening to our own instincts and saying "no, thank you very much".
Do you now what I have to do now every morning for 3 days ??? - collect my own poop and take it to the lab for analysis Image Why? Just because I complained about Fe causing diarrhea and having stomach pains - she wants to check for parasites Image like I just came "off the boat" from Urunda Burundi Image . It is like - OK , now you think twice before you complain about anything Image Image . And so forth- I mean, sometimes I feel like writing whole book about today's medical practices and their inaptness and emotional abuse they inflict - which I probably would if my English was more fluent.
I highly doubt that I will end up getting any iron in any special form since I discovered that they are not covered by insurance if ferritin level is not below 10, and that injections (not even infusion) cost about $2,000 - I wonder where they get their iron - Pluto ???
All in all, my dear friend , I will try , but I do not have high hopes...
I hope that your pain is less today Image and don't give up yet on Botox Image - you came loooong way and need just little bit more time to heal it completely ! I wanted LIS to have a permanent solution but as we can see here on the forum, it is not a magic procedure either - one has to be careful forever no matter what Image After all of my experiences with doctors here I was honestly scared to try it after I was handed a "consent form" - in a different situation I might have try it. LiS definitely gave me my life back since painful spasms stopped immediately and my fissures heal back fast - but it is obvious that once this area is compromised - one has to take care of it to the rest of
one's life Image I was soooo upset when one of my friends told me to just learn to live with it - now I wonder if she was right ? Even Freud once advised that if one day you wake up with one leg and one hand - only thing that you need to do is to start crawling on that one leg and one hand . I know that it sounds morbid and inhumane and senseless - but maybe life is exactly that - senseless LOL !
:nevergive:

Doctors can be so insensitive to suffering and our struggle just to have a decent bm so we can have a more normal existence is nothing to be made light of. I find myself having to edit what I say and hold back info because I know from experience that there is only so much they can handle and if it doesn't fit into their treatment algorithm they get very uncomfortable and then label the patient as a problem.
I go along so as not to rock the boat even though I know better and when I stand up for myself I am noncompliant and going against medical advice or the insurance company doesn't see it as standard of care so it isnt covered. It is frustrating!!!
