I am 5 months post LIS now, and since my check up appointment was cancelled I have tried to get a new appointment...and guess what, they called me this morning and asked if I could come 11.30 today :o
The fissure at 12 o'clock is healed, and the deep 1 cm long at 6 o'clock where the muscle fibres were showing (according to my CRS) is now reduced to 2 superficial cracks. They may be the ones I tore on Sunday.
I know I will be compromised down there, maybe forever, and that this will take a lot of time to heal, but at least I know now that it is healing properly and even though it may take time before I am feeling more normal, this is
These last years have been a nightmare and I am grateful that I may finally see the end of it. I will not take anything for granted, but I will do my best to enjoy life as things are slowly improving
