Vixxy I'm so sorry you are suffering! You've come to the right place. Many of us have been where you are or are where you are now, so you're not alone.
I agree with Dawn and Ink - see a CRS as soon as you can. This is the person who will help you heal your fissure, either with the PROPER oitments for fissures (NOT ointment for hemorrhoids, which so many GPs presribe!) or with surgery. The ointments a CRS will likely recommend are nitro or calcium channel blockers. These can heal a fissure if it's caught early. You will also be able to talk with a CRS about botox or a lateral internal sphincterotomy. I'm so surprised that so few GPs actually know anything about how to properly treat fissure. A CRS is your best option.
