It starts out as almost pins and needles aching in my buttock and down the back of my leg, is quite painful if brushed lightly but any harder and it is not painful
Sometimes it even seems to extend down to my foot just in that leg
Then after a day or so it aches quite a bit and urination is quite painful starting and stopping and when a bm is coming or bladder is full it is more intense.
And then a sore area forms just outside and going into anus, really painful and seems to get worse and worse and has a raw spot that stings like an open wound or a graze
And then it seems to go as fast as it came
I thought it was a hemi but now am not sure at all what it is
It seems almost like some sort of infection, only happens once every few months and then goes
usually is gone in a week
Never noticed any drainage or pus
Hoping to book to see my CRS this week just wondering if anyone else gets symptoms like this
It happened in the days after LIS surgery but I have had it many times prior to that
seems to happen if there has been some sort of trauma down there
How many things can go wrong down there seriously
FML!

It seems that I've had some of those symptoms - but I haven't (yet) had the LIS . . .
I do have two AFs - I'm seeing a different crs this coming week.
I totally understand - about wondering what else can go wrong down there! Enough, enough, enough. I've had enough. I'm sure you have, too.

It almost sounds like Sciatica. Especially where it goes into the buttocks and down the leg. How long ago did you have LIS?? and did you have any complications after surgery?

Lis was six weeks ago now
No there were no complications
Thats what I was thinking a while back but then there is definatly a lump down there and an open wound so I am thinking it is an abscess
Actually I am scared its an abscess, I thought after the lis this could be over!
But the symtoms do seem to be varied and odd
I just hope it is cureable!

Has a doctor checked it COnz? Plz be sure you let him/her know on your appointment next time or earlier if it continues

Have it checked out. Surely the doctor can deal with it, so that you can be past all of this.
Gads, I wouldn't wish this anal misery on anyone.

Booked in for tomorrow morning with a normal GP, just my luck it will be gone by then!
Booking my CRS appmnt for later on this week so hopefully things will become more clear
