That's interesting. As my diet was pretty good, having made changes to it to deal with the fissure and as I also took supplements, I probably didn't have a deficiency. I did like pecans though - and they're high in fibre, so I had to be careful not to let them increase the level of fibre in my diet too much and thus produce overlarge stools. Had to make changes elsewhere in my diet to accommodate them. I would be interested to hear if they work for anyone though.
