This will be the place I write about my progress after botox.
After more than 100 days on nitro, I had botox today.
Just got home, and Im sore, and have some bleeding. They only found one cronic fissure right in the back. Hopefully this botox will heal it.

Hi JHH, congrats on the botox! I hope it is able to heal you. Expect a couple days of soreness at the injection site and hopefully the botox kicks in right away. Happy trails!

Day 2
The pain increased yesterday during the evening. When I went to sleep I had some bouts of spasms. Like the muscle clenched and let go. Only lasting a few seconds but still painfully. Had this for a few hours until I finally felt a sleep.
Today I woke up and was sore and swollen. More than yesterday. Had a BM which was good and soft, but it was so swollen down there it took 10 minutes to get out. It did hurt a lot, but the pain right after was much worse. I don't remember this bad a pain even when my fissure were new.
Anyway, it lasted like 10 minutes and then started to go away. Now, some time after I'm just very sore again.
Will update later today...

Hoping for the very best outcome of complete healing for you with the Botox, and that the injection site calms down soon.
alternating warm and cool compresses might help with that.

Thanks for the cokments guys :D
Whaaaat... bad incontinence! Yikes, please don't tell me stuff like that!
Did you have to wear a diaper? I would guess botox made you too loose down there, but did it heal your fissure?
I'm not in much pain unless I walk. And the pain is different now. It's sore and feels swollen, but it doesn't feel like burning spasms. I'm even able to sit, unless I do it for too long.

Day 3
Still sore and swollen. BM was a little less painfull than yesterday.
Walking hurts, but I'm relative painless sitting and laying on my side.
Still don't feel the usual fissure burn, which I take as a good thing.

Hi JHH, Keep going, the Botox will kick in, once the soreness goes down.... Mine took 2/3 weeks.I had gas and almost felt like i could poop myself. But this was better than the hell Fissure pain. My burn calmed down quite quickly, which for me was great, as the burn was the main thing which made me want to jump off the nearest cliff............
