The last 10 days have been weird...pain hasnt been unbearable like the last 4 months. I would give anything if it means i am healing. CRS said AF is still there but doesnt look as 'angry'. Then today i had pain 6 out of 10 all day. Of course didnt have time to use vaseline before Morning BM. Please no set backs tomorrow. JHH i know u are watching. My first born is now 7 weeks old and i feel like an awful father too. Hang in there. We will all somehow get thru this...

Yeah mate, I'm here, on the sofa with a sore ass...
Surely someday we will be painfree too, it's just a matter of time. It just feels so hopeless going back to scratch after 4 months of slow improvement.

My nightmare continues. Just got back from ER. After my 2nd round of botox i noticed a small bump near the opening and CRS said everything looked good while was doing the 2nd round of botox..he said no hemorhoids or anything else...just that the fissure was there but it "didnt look as angry".... Now a month later and i thought things were healing in being that the spasms havent been as intense...etc. I woke up two days ago and that lump was huge and throbbing. Ouch. They said it was an absess and when they went to drain it, it was coming out of the anus meaning it must be related to the fissure and they think the fissure is infected too... Now im terrified and how nasty this thing is getting. Is this along the lines of a fistula since it created a tract from the fissure site?? Any help is so appreciated....and also my CRS is moving out of state and i have to start over with finding a new one...
