Kathy,
I am the most balless person in my family. But surprisingly, I do not feel any fears when going for the surgery. If best, get your mum or family along for support.

Hi Kathy,
Glad you went for it and got it done. Is your fistula involving abit of your muscles? That is why the surgeon put a seton in? I ate immediately after surgery and had my bm 12 hours after surgery. It looks scary to poop after the surgery but the reality is that it doesn't hurt at all. So don't worry and give yourself enough nutrition to heal the problems.
