LIS for spasms

I am still a bit confused about Botox vs LIS for spasms. I am 14 months post 2 fissures and have dehibilitating spasms most of the day every day. I had Botox 3.5 weeks ago that did nothing, although my understating is that if it had worked, it would ...

Spasms/flutter/twitch after LIS 12/21/17

... no complications. So far I have been feeling great until today, I had a BM this morning which had a little bit of bleeding which now has led to spasms. I know it has only been a couple of weeks but I am worried that I have opened the fissure again. To add, I have been battling OAB which seems ...

One weird trick that helps to control spasms

... may need some lubrication to ease it in. You don't need the whole thing in there just a third or half. When you have it in there you will feel the spasms and the pressure, then you can focus your mind on the spinchter muscle and try to stop the spasms. You will feel if and when it starts to work ...

Spasms after LIS

I had LIS 14 days ago. Recovery was going well, until the spasms came back 4 days ago, and I've had them every day since then. Fissure and incision pain is well-managed with ibuprofen, still using diltiazem for the spasms. I'm keeping up with my water ...

Are some spasms normal?

Had LIS two days ago - still having some spasms - not very painful at all, but they are there. Sometimes after BM, sometimes just random.

Is that normal? I kinda thought they were supposed to go away entirely.

Thanks!

Spasms on waking

I find that in the morning I have spasms on waking up from the small amount of sleep I get each night. Then, after dozing in the afternoon because I'm so short of sleep, I again get spasms. This is not pleasant at all.

How can I tell whether I have spasms?

So I hear that a large part of why anal fissures don't heal is that you get spasms of the muscles down there - maybe the sphincter? I'm not sure whether I have spasms. It kind of feels normal after a BM (although when there is pain it's a little tight) but generally ...

Spasms-looking to eliminate

Spasms continuing after healed?!

... about three months, my two fissures are completely healed over. I have had no bleeding for several weeks and they are not sensitive to the touch. Spasms are reduced - I feel completely relaxed until I have a bowel movement, then I have burning on and off and sharp pains throughout the day. They ...
