I contacted Dwight this morning about Jayden.

Thanks a lot for the support, guys, looks like Jayden either still has pneumonia or possibly bronchitis. They're proceeding with the feeding tube surgery as planned (happening right now in fact) and are going to investigate the breathing problem more afterward. He's been losing a ton of weight so they want to get the feeding tube in ASAP. I've got my CRS appointment in an hour and am heading to the hospital afterward. Looks like we'll be staying in the hospital for a few days, kind of a bummer because I was hoping we were done with all that.

NG, Sorry to hear about your son, I hope everything turns out ok. And...good luck at your apt.

Thanks Brit! CRS appointment went well, I'm going to go ahead and get LIS. My son's having some complications though (long story) so it looks like he's in the hospital for a longer than expected stay and may get another surgery done over the next week. Once that's over and settled down I'm taking the LIS plunge.

I wanted to let you know that Dwight left me a message on my phone even though it is his day off. He was at a minister's monthly breakfast when I called him this am about Jayden. He actually shared with the entire ministers' group Jayden's story (about needing the feeding tube and having to go to the ER) and asked all of his minister colleagues to pray for Jayden also. Hopefully, that move might help the little guy. I'll say a special prayer tonight for him also.

Cheryl, thank you and Dwight (plus his group) so much! I'm at the hospital with Jayden right now. They're doing a bunch of tests on him to evaluate his lungs and upper GI tract so hopefully we'll know more tomorrow.
