Haven't seen any update -- how are you doing?

I didn't want to jinx myself but the burning pain has decreased (not completely gone yet)... The irritation is what I have noticed more in the last few days (I don't know what that really means, healing but what if there was no fissure?) I definitely recommend trying Botox since I have had some improvement on pain just 6 days after Botox.

That sounds good. Not all the way there, but on your way.

I've been doing the Nifedipine, coconut oil, zinc and the warm bath and that seems to be helping. Working from home when not traveling and that has reduced the stress level. I might be doing a bit better -- maybe I'm healing? I don't know - after almost 12 months, can that be?

But if you tried that and it still has not completely healed, I think it's time to move to the next step...

Life is better when you don't have bum issues... I hope to get there and not have to worry about my bum.

Glad to hear you may be experiencing some positive effects Alyssa. Let's hope it keeps getting better from here :)

Alyssa, it's great news you had your botox! Maybe try not to be too active for a while? It's so tempting to start running around when you feel better, but i bet you need to take it easy for a while. I know I tended to overdo it when I first started to feel better and my bottom always took its revenge the next day! Look after yourself; you deserve it.

Alyssa, I really hope the Botox helps you, but scientist is right... Try not to over do it... You will pay for it.
