Anyways, buttastic was so kind to remove them as he thought I was serious, but really, feel free to post all the food pictures you want :)

Cheese! I want cheese...so bad. I'm craving it. I need it! Anyone get away with eating cheese? Maybe just a little? A thin slice? lol

Am I weird? I can eat what I like so long as I take the fibre supplement and drink lots and lots (and lots) of water.
Though I've always eaten lots of fruit, veg, lentils, beans etc (so why did I get the fissure in the first place? a mystery). Anyhoo, I haven't changed my diet all that much. Eat oatmeal every day, that's the only thing I do differently.
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!

Scientist are you saying you can get away with eating cheese too? I wonder if I experimented with more foods I'm scared of ill find that they come out just fine. I never had problems before. We'll except when I was pregnant and would eat prolly a half block of cheese a day. No joke, and I wondered why I got constipated during pregnancy.

I haven't been eating large amounts of cheese, but mac and cheese (homemade with wholewheat flour), cheese tortellini (not homemade though) - yes, I eat those. And now and again some strong blue cheese or a smelly brie. Don't need to eat large amounts if it's got lots of flavour!
