I'm so sorry you didn't get the answers you were hoping for.... Story of my life!! Lol
I would certainly go for a second opinion.... If you could possibly afford it maybe go private?? See someone sooner, rather than waiting around again.
It just goes to show what a complicated beast the anus is.... You can feel the pain, you know it's there, it's just finding the route cause and treating that.

I hope you don't feel too upset with this news..... Hang on in there my lovely fissure fighter!!

Thankyou everyone! This forum is the best! I love you all with all my heart.....

I will see what the new CRS says and if I am not happy my next route will be to pay private. I think I am in a cycle now of re-tear roller coaster, some days real bad, some not so bad, some okay ish.... This is hard work.

OMB! What is involved in the Pressure test? I think I am tight back there!

The pressure test just involves lying on your side, whilst they insert a very tiny tube that has a small deflated balloon on the end. They fill the balloon with warm water, and ask you to push, hold, squeeze etc. it's not great, but it's a necessary test for some... I'm so lucky I get to do it twice!! Lol it's more embarrassing than anything to be honest... But hey, I would let a whole bus load of randoms gawp at my butt if that meant I would get some help and end this cycle!!!! LOL

Hi OMB and So Tired...

Well that pressure test sounds weird! But if it gives you an answer to end this it will be great. I might ask about it when I see the new CRS.
I seem to have had a slight improvement on BM and now I am taking more Movicol I seem to have more broken up stools. But now I am sooooo sore, it's like my bottom is burnt again, I am not using any creams now, just good old Vaseline. It has really itched today. What the heck is it? The CRS told me to try metanium for the soreness, but I am scared to use anything else! I think it has given up back there.... I still get the weird lady bits pain too and it feels sore.... I am sure I have scar tissue build up. Thankyou so much both of you, I couldn't get through this without this forum.xxxxxxxx

Sometimes if my stools are too loose, it gives me a stingy bum for the rest of the day. It may be the increase in movicol that has caused it?? I can't use anything on my bum at the moment either. I'm not even using Vaseline. I think I have used so many different lotions and potions over the last few years my poor bum has had enough!!

I hope you are doing ok

Still waiting on the appointment with the new CRS... Sigh. Very sore today, sure I've had another re-tear. Cried and cried, just want this to end. Clearly I'm in a cycle of hell. X
