Thanks mbp. I know I would feel better if I could go, at least less anxious. Managed to walk outside for a few minutes which is more than I've done in a while. Suffering a little more now but just put some ice on.

Your words really help. It's reassuring to know someone understands. Family certainly does not which is frustrating.

Oh I know that feeling Hun....I spent a good few months wishing certain members of my family could experience the pain and worry of a fissure so they could see where I was coming from. My hubby sulked when I wouldn't have ice cream as to quote him "it only gives you the runs" they can't understand the physical agony and the mental torture that living with this for months on end causes.
It's great you managed to get outside that's good progress Hun. Who knows the walk may have helped move a BM along too.
Fingers crossed for some movement for you tonight

GG, that's great that your off the pain meds, soo much better for you not having that in your system as well. If your not eating much there is not too much to come out since it's only the waste that needs to come out. This will all be in the past soon. Day by Day.. This does not happen to people who cannot handle it and there is a reason we are all going through this, but it will make sense someday.. Continue hang tough....blessings to all.

GG, I'm so sorry to hear that you are still not able to have a BM, and are in pain. Sending you many virtual hugs and prayers for healing. I really hope things keep getting better from here on out, even if it's only by a little bit.

About the BMs, do you think you might be impacted internally? I think you can get the surgeon's opinions asap on what to do to ensure you can have a movement. They really should provide their direct contact numbers for patients who may need them at odd hours!
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy

Still nothing as of this morning. More cramping, but only able to pass gas.

Thanks mbp - I know you've had trouble with that too. It feels like now I've had the surgery, they think I should be better by now.

Mamafizz - hope you're right! Something has got to happen soon.

Patience and healing - thanks. I really wish I did have a weekend contact number, it would be much easier. I'm not sure if I am or not - I've been taking lots of stool softner, drinking lots, taken lots of laxatives, tried a bulb enema about 3 times and nothing...so I don't really know if it's a possibility?

I'm not sure if there's any point in taking anything this morning, the laxatives seem to do nothing. Dreading making the call tomorrow to find out what to do next.

Hi GG
Gosh Hun I would have thought you would have gone by now.
You never know it might happen today, how was the bulb enema hope it wasn't too painful.
It's so awful that it's happened like this but I know from experience that a bad period doesn't necessarily mean you can't have full healing.
You are in my thoughts Hun and I'm sending big hugs and positivity your way.

My fingers (and toes!) are crossed for you today, and I hope that you can have a movement before having to take any other action. Good luck!

Gg- you reach an on call doctor. If they were concerned you could get a ct scan to see if there is much stool in colon. Peace of mind maybe?

Thanks guys. I'm just not having any luck! It's worrying me.

The enema was a little painful but ok if I'm careful. Rather not have to do it though, I'm nervous about injuring things.

I'd have to go spend the day in emergency if I wanted help today - and I'm not keen on it, it's a holiday so it will be packed. I'm hoping to avoid emergency if possible, but yes it may give me some peace of mind to get a scan, you're right zinnia!

Well, managed to go a very small bit. But now I'm stuck.

I passed two very small hard bits with lots of effort and the bulb enema, and there is more there but I can't seem to pass it, and I think I've just made things very sore trying.

I've managed to put in a glycerin suppository and am about to take a large dose of miralax. I can't believe things are so solid considering the copious amounts of softner I've been taking.

I don't know what else to do, I wish this would just happen easily and be done
