Maybe GG that's just the first bit and the next will come out easier when it moves further down. Hopefully the suppository will have the effect and everything will be ok.
At least there has been movement and you ave managed to pass it gives hope that the rest will come

Thanks mbp - hope so. I was able to go a little more but not much. It's aching terribly now like when my fissure was bad and there was some bleeding. My stomach is not feeling to great, but maybe that's a sign things are moving, hard to tell. I hope the miralax has some effect, may take more tonight. I'd be fine with diarrhea at the moment - though I may regret saying that.

Glad you have been again Hun it might not be a lot because there might not be a lot in there. If your stomach is making noise then I'm sure more movement will happen soon.
Hopefully the aching won't last too long and will ease off.
Yes it finding the elusive medium that's not D and not C oh if only there was a magic pill for that

Exactly - same here mpb. I used to always have those perfect bms, but not for the past few months!

I'm not even going to try again today unless it's urgent, too sore. Heating pad on now which helps. May take more miralax before bed and hope for the best in the am.

I was backed up almost this badly once before, when I took immodium for diarrhea(my body seems to like to swing very quickly from diarrhea to constipation now), but I had a colonoscopy so had to do the prep about 4 days into not going...it did the trick after two sachets. I figure worst case, I'd rather resort to that than emergency if the surgeons office says that's ok.

It might not be pleasant but the relief would trump that I think.

Thanks for all the support. This is so embarrassing, I'm tired of it!

congrats on beginning and warning that it may catch up and you will be going for a while! I thought I had found a happy mix with miralax, benefiber, stool softener, and then bam- today as I had to go back to work for first time I could not stop going, D, and took an immodium. Now to find that happy medium and then get it not to change.

Oh zinnia sorry about that!! Ya I'm expecting something to hit but I'm a little worried there's still a blockage...but I'm too sore to even think about it right now! Hoping the morning will go.

If it helps, when things were best for me Bm wise I was taking miralax and Metamucil tablets in a banana smoothie with some oatmeal in the evening My ibs couldn't really take the fibre after a while - but the bms were perfect. I have a feeling that the smoothie form really helped.

Hi GG sounds like your on the right track at . Just a reminder, and I know it sounds too simple to help but by drinking some warm water about half hour later eat a small meal. And really through out the day. Warm Better than cold. (Alittle Himalayan salt and lemon.) Remember Western Medicine does not make money to recommend simple and effective treatments. worth a try maybe.?! And the diosomin also has natural properties for healing & proper blood flow and cell regrowth in that area for faster healing as well. It's seems to be working well so far... Hope one of these things helps really really soon!!!

I have been using the warm water mamafizz, thanks! It seems to cause some tummy rumbling, so I think maybe it's helping?

Feeling very full after a full dose of miralax and lots of water - I'm hoping that's a good sign. This is how I felt after drinking the MRI prep - and boy did I go after that.

Thanks again mamafizz, it is a good trick!

Ok well...this has been the most horrible morning. I was able to go but now it is just never ending rock hard bowel movements. I feel like I've re-torn or torn a new fissure, the pain is excruciating. I'm stuck now, I know I have to go and I can feel it there but I can't get any more out I'm exhausted. I passed about 4-5 pieces (like the size of the large marbles maybe) and they are so so hard to pass, nothing seems to relax when I have to go. I had to use mineral oil enemas and Vaseline to get that far. And I either have a new hemorrhoid or one is now very swollen.

I'm so done with this. I've been taking stool softner for a week and a half and this is what I get.

I phoned the surgeons office and her assistant is waiting to get word back from her on what to do. Meanwhile, he's made me an appointment for Thursday with her. I don't know what I'll do till then.

Crying in the tub right now. I'm at my wits end completely, I seriously cannot live like this
