Hi, this is just awful! I have cried all morning again. Just want my life back. I was running up to 6 miles, really fit and now it has ended! I am so annoyed, never been unhealthy. Life isn't fair! Why us?
I find mentally this is soooo draining. I am calling CRS now to see if there are any cancellations!

rachael can you tell me exactly where you have fissure. bottom part or upper part or in the middle.one more thing there are some special Nurons around upper parts of the anus surrounding anus. some of them are responsible in way for serotonin production in the body.the more you stressed out about this situation the more this spasm is going to come back.there is only way to relax those muscles is relax yourself. eat light stuff and have patience. oky buddy the moment i start carrying a pillow with me around everyplace and restore my normal life with pain it start going away.try it

Hello, I have chronic one at 7oclock and one at 30clock.
I am worried because they don't normally occur at 3 o'clock,
The CRS is doing a camera when I go into hospital on the day of the Botox. I am really scared now that I have something else going on!?

I have a chronic one at 8 o clock. I was just at the CRS yesterday and he said it wasn't healing as well as he had hoped and that it is big and long and deep. The previous one at 12 o clock seems to be holding.
I was also worried about the fact that I had too and it could be some underlying condition. The truth though is that the pathophysiology(causes) of anal fissures are still uncertain. Which is extremely frustrating.... :(
So there's no clear way of knowing why some people never have them, some people get singles, doubles, triples, chronic ones. There's evidence to suggesting it's something to do with the pressure in the rectum created by a hypertonic(overly strong) sphincter and that's what LIS addresses by cutting the sphincter in just the right way to make it relax. At a 90% cure rate it seems to be doing something to cure fissures.
The important thing is that you're on your way to being cured because you're seeking treatment. One way or the other these conditions will be treated and sooner or later they will most likely be a thing of the past in your life.

I like to think of my fissure as a physical PRISON. That's what it is at the end of the day... stopping you from having a normal life. Imprisoning you into it's restrictive ways.

oky guys you have fissures due to hard stools. and they are there for a long time before you realize them you have them here
so what to do now?
all kinds of painkillers make stool hard.
not enough water in the food also make stool hard
undigested meat make stool hard and primary reason for the fissure.
quit meat
eat beans
you have 2 things in general
spasm and fissure
spasm is because of stress and anxiety
or over work of the body
not having enough protein
stop thinking too much about it
you must control the fissure and pain they should not control you
carry on your life as usual
it will be better .
