Hi OMB,
I'm not surprised he skirted over the hemm attack thing!! Truly, I think they should warn you about the hemm side-effects following ANY form of anal surgery!!! EVERY surgery I had was followed by an onslaught of either angry exterior hems (which I never had prior!) or irritation of the internal hemms!! and they took a while to settle down too. Grrr!! Things will pick up OMB - Just hang in there as patiently as you can. If it's minor irritation/ discomfort rather than anything major, you're doing just fine at this stage in your recovery! xxx

Hi OMB,
So glad your feeling better today. I hope those hems calm down soon, will they not do anything about them for you?
You hardly hurt yourself? I think i read on here somewhere before of someone suffering the same pain but got no answers. I hope its nothing to worry about.
Take care x

Well... I'm into week five post Botox now!!
Bms are still soft and easy to pass. They still come on very suddenly and I have to rush to make it!Image
My fissure pain is still very minor..... My hems are still looming large, and irritating, but the worst thing is my coccyx. It feels bruised still. It's worse when I sit or lie down. I have no fever or sign of infection.
Anyone had this after Botox?
Edel..... I won't let anyone touch the hems ever again. It was the removal of old ones that led me into this fissure mess in the first place!!

Nice to read you are doing OK there omb! When the hems settle down, you will be even better I hope.
I only had the "kick in my ass" feeling for like the first 4 days after botox.

Great news OMB, glad there is some improvement. I think ETO is right! Remember after I had Botox my external hem played up something rotten. And with the internal ones that were banded it took a while. Those mountains will shrink. Keep the faith.

Keep going OMB. My Botox is still working 5weeks in. Booted up the bum feeling is only slight after the last 2days. Odd. But no blood is a great sign eh.
Leave those Hems be as the trauma of would have aggravated them. After my Botox, I think some of it found its way into my perenium as it spreads to the least pressured area and it swelled a bit. It's still a little puckered now but not causing any issues.
Maybe your Botox has done the same?

Thanks all... But it's not the same booted up the bum feeling I had at first. It's a bruised coccyx feeling deep inside. It seems to go up through the crack of my bum like a burn, then feels like a bruise. Funnily enough, it doesn't hurt to touch around my tail bone. Something is not right, I just feel it in my bones!!( well, my bum!! Lol )
I will try and go back to the drs this week and see if I can get some sort of scan to see what's going on.
Fissure wise.... I'm not too bad!
At the moment I can't help regretting the Botox... It just seems to have brought a whole new set of problems to the table!

Hi OMB,
When I had my fresh wound and had hard BM 4 months ago, it hurted a lot and I had similar pain refering to my coccyx. Also I have read that fissure pain can echo to legs, coccyx, or butt cheeks.
Also question to you, where was Botox injection done? And I don't remember if you stated where actually unhealed wound/fissure is located?
