Day 12! Big smile on my face. Had a bm around 8 15 this morning and the pain during the bm only reached a 2/10 at best. Had my coconut oil sitz bath after and just couldn't believe how good it was! Having tiny spasms now but nothing really to shout about. I'm just so happy :-) big hugs to all.

Yay! Thanks. Having minor resting pain this evening but not bad!! Just a quick update for my records... I've started lactulose 15ml in the eve, ordered the squatty potty and that toilet seat adapter that was recommended on the forum. If I'm healing I want to keep on the right path!

Day 13, unlucky for some.

pain again today BM was a 5/10 and been having fissure pains all day (random shooting pain) my squatty potty thing arrived though with the colorec toilet seat so will be trying those tomorrow. I know fissures have regular setbacks but it's still gutting.

Keep up the good work FF.... Don't loose hope. I'm sure all you are doing to help yourself will encourage healing soon. It always seems to be two steps forwards and one back..... But keep that in mind.... You're due to go forward again!

Just had second bm of the day, ow ow ow. Still a lot of blood on the stool 2 weeks post procedure (Botox + banding). Is this normal?

I would think it is FF. You had a lot done down there. I don't want to scare you but I have had hemmies banded many times before and was told by several Doctor's that they would never do more than 2 at a time, usually one, separated by 4-6 weeks. So you have a lot of healing to do in there but it will get better with time.

When is your follow up with your surgeon?

No date through yet for my follow up. Sat on a hot bottle at the moment I thought I was doing so well!
