Hiya In the end I had bottox 5 times it helped with the pain but did not heal me! My first op with my surgeon was the clean up op and bottox and after 6 days I got an infection and ended up with a fistula!!!! The worse pain of my life for 4 months!!!!!! So after your op keep everything clean and if you feel any lumps come up get it checks out right away! I tryed the cream for ages you get given, then had the clean up op with bottox then had another op to cut open the fistula and had bottox with that, then had three more bottoxs after the 2nd op a few months apart! But nothing was healing my tear so in the end i begged for the lis op. day three after the op and I think I'm doing ok my pain meds are keeping me spaced out but I'm ok!! So scaryed about injection!!!!!!! So having lots of baths keeping everything clean and dry and bought some cream I was recommended!!! To prevent infection! I have a lovely friend that was had the op done who is getting me through it all we help each other which u need someone who understands what your going through!

Hi katie!

Glad to hear your surgery went well!

I was just wondering, you have probably mentioned before but are you in the UK and did you have all this done on the NHS?

I’m 7 months with a fissure now and starting to loose the will! Have an appointment tomorrow with CRS
