Sometimes putting ointment on can disturb the muscles a bit but might not be enough reason to stop using the diltiazem. Just a bit after advice. I also get annoying spasms once in a while for no apparent reason.

Yes but I've never had it like that before plus Botox should work if it's going to right with or without the diltiazem cream the Zink cream is sooo soothing too

1 day past the 3 weeks mark an today I had an amazing bm it was half 3 half 4 on the chart an I had minimal discomfort it came out in two halves so it stretched the muscle then nothing then stretched the muscle again the muscle normal freaks out after the first part if it's in two parts an tightens up for the second part but it just stretched an let it all go it was a nice bm like a good clean out also I think I needed it after a few days of not clearing out properly sorry my posts have turned into bm posts but I think fissures start with bms an they end with bms I think at least for me the best part of healing to date is reducing lax sachets an adding fiber I look forward to when I drop the last sachet but I'm doing it slowly for me bulky stretchy bms has been like seeing an old friend I haven't seen in years it just feels right an familia.

Thanks guys mypoorbutt isn't that a great sign that my muscle automatically stretched an didn't go into panic freak out mood man it's been a long time since my muscle just did what it should an just chill stretch chill stretch an that's it.

That’s so wonderful, Missy! It sounds like the Botox is working :-) So glad you’re finding relief and even being able to return to more normal BMs. After having to use laxs for so long it’s gotta be a great feeling!

It certainly looks like the Botox is doing its job. I know it’s so nice when our butts actually behave like they are meant too. Perhaps the more formed BMs are helping too

Yea I think the more formed bms are a big part of it too because they have felt better then softer bms since I changed the bms I still think the scar tissue should have been removed because I can feel it with my finger it's not smooth it feels rough
