Hi Mike, yeah it's the same CRS. According to him, the Diltiazem will relax the external Sphincter in case there is a large poop or a hard one which has stayed in the colon for more than 24 hours. I do have incomplete BM sometimes and left over poop comes out hard the next day. So to avoid any tears and minimize the pain he advised me to use Diltiazem 30 mins before a BM. The turmeric based ointment is actually a mix of turmeric and zinc oxide, which gives a menthol effect after the BM. My skin tag removal sites really flare up with soreness after a BM. He doesn't want me to take pain killers so the post BM ointment really cool things down.....

Get an all natural pure psyllium husk powder one then take half the recommended dose for a few day an work upwards if you want also drink alot of water it will have the instructions on the packet but I would start off slowly and with small doses half of what it says it should help you be regular that's what it's for good luck

Jai......can your CRS use the incision less biolite laser to help this situation?

Have you tried the paste before a bm and the diltiazem afterwards?

Are you possibly using too much spice in your food?

I think Missy also has some good advice.

Hi Mike, just had a word with my CRS. He recommended me to continue using the ointment for the Sphincter to gain the natural tone via well formed stools.

I tried alternating the ointment but Diltiazem before a BM is a good relief.

I have certainly reduced my intake of spices, but it has never been an issue. Only the bulky stools give me the discomfort, but doctor has advised to avoid loose BMs as the muscle tends to then get used to it and later normal BMs can be an issue.

Missy's advised was wonderful. I took a Tbspoon of Psyllium with warm water 1st thing in morning for 2 days, and the issue of stool staying in the system for long is gone.

Thanks a lot Missy !!
