Yeah, Val, kind of makes you wonder why he got into medicine with that kind of attitude. Image

Lars - find another CRS, please !!! There is no point going in circles with that moron !!! He obviously has no clue how to treat fissures and if he is avoiding LIS better don't do it with him !!! Maybe he made somebody incontinent in the past and is not taking any more risks (which is good in his case since he is obviously incompetent )!!!
Cheryl - everybody can develop a fissure - it is same incidence for males and females , young and old. The only difference is that babies and children and elderly have looser sphincters and usually heal much easier that young adults.
Lecia-baby - most people go to med school because of money and the "title" - sad ... I know ...: (.

Makes sense that babies, children, and elderly would have looser sphincters and would heal faster. Never thought about that!! Going to a golf lesson with hopes that it might help the game.

Lars -
Sorry your feeling bad still!
I agree with everyone that your doctor needs the boot. I had a family doctor tell me that I just needed to deal with it - what a idiot.
I hope everything goes well on the 7th. If I were you, I would ask about LIS. Let us know how it goes!

Hello all
Back from my appointment. I didn`t have an exam. I just told him that I still have pain/discomfort and that the Botox didn`t work. Hell It can`t be working when I have to push real hard just to fart and sometimes to poo also...
I am going to have a manometri test to see if the pressure is to high in the rectum. The CRS thought that maybe I just had spasm that did the pain/discomfort. And yes he offered me LIS but I am not doing it before i`m 100 % sure that I have spasm. I think I have that but I am not 100 % sure.
Thank you all for the great respons :)
That do people here think? Go ahead with LIS and pray that I will heal complety?
