:( that sucks you cant have any time off. I'm glad things are looking a little better - that must be a huge relief for you.

Mine was very sore for probably 2-3 weeks. At my 3 week check he used an anuscope and that didn't hurt at all, although i was still sore from a stitch which didn't dissolve. I think the reason it feels so bad is that its an open wound which is stretched and used daily and is not in the cleanest of areas. To put it crudely - imagine having the same wound, say on your arm, and stretching it open every day and rubbing poo into it! It would take far longer to heal than if you left it and kept it clean and dry!! ALSO, that area is very very sensitive- look how even the tiniest of fissures cause so much agony - if you had that sized cut somewhere else, you wouldn't even notice it.
So just give it time, I'm sure it will heal up soon!
How is your little boy? Better I hope?

I got the Mebo too! Saw that Sesame oil was one of the main ingredients!

Hang in there, Jen. Things are going to be looking up again soon!

Lecia baby doll - did you try it ? If not I will let you know if there are any drawbacks or reactions - my butt is very sensitive now so if it does not develop any weird reaction - it might be safe for you to try .

I tried it a little on the crease above the anus but I get folliculitis very easily so I nixed putting it on the membranous part. Let me know what you think though!

oki-doki buddy - I was little bit reluctant, to be honest since the last thing I need now is some extra irritation on top of everything so I will start with 'once a day" and see ...yeah - I feel exactly like that little hamster ha ha , but in some big "extensive anal surgery" experiment data collection - would be funny if it was not so sad LOL

Well, I would wait then. With everything all stirred up I doubt you would know if it were doing anything. Maybe give it a week and see if you feel like trying it. Gotta go with your instincts!
