Ok ---I guess - although it was like I predicted LOL Image
He was very gentle - I mean, if it was any other doctor I would refuse fingering as I did with the first one point blankly Image. I must admit I hoped for just external exam, but when he said softly - "we will look inside now" I just let out a little cry like moan and he said that he will do it very slowly and that sometimes exam can help with spasms - which is true - LOL- we all know that.
He said that I do great job keeping it so clean and that he can see it by the rate of the healing and the rate of swelling going down. The only place that did hurt during exam was that "black hole" and it proved that it is the only cause of my pain now. He said that it should heal in 6 weeks (Gremlin code < @#@@!%&*}+(**) +++ ). He gave me some lido cream to put it just on that spot for extra help. He did not give it before since he did not want me to mask possible infection pain or anything sinister - it looks like he does think things over and has a plan but what impressed me today was that he turned to my husband and said : " You know, she was suffering for so long by now that her biggest fear is that she will not heal even after second surgery and it is very scary thought " !!! My jaw just dropped , since that is exactly what is in the back of my mind all of this time and why this pain is driving me nuts so much - not just because it is painful but because the longer it is there the more afraid I am that it will not go away Image :( Image . So, he really shows understanding of magnitude of patient's pain - I pray to God that he proves to be a good CRS after all - I would pay a small plane to fly a banner with his name over the Bay Image - I SWAER !!!!
So, next app. in 2 weeks . I should continue with all my soaks, cleaning and my creams that I use on my own LOL - you know my lab Image - full capacity now Image MEBO is in too now Image - so , whoever has a wound right now - please keep it clean - he said it is of outmost importance for healing and that poor people who work do not have that chance or people who are skirmish to look and such do have the most trouble with infections Image Image Image . I am really sure that If I did not clan that crap from my wound by q-tip - I would not heal at this rate Image .
I also use my chamomile - white oak compresses after the warm soaks - made swelling goes down even faster Image ! (code <%%#$(+ - ** +++ )
Thanks for asking baby-Lecia Image Image Image
LOVE TO ALL Image

What a remarkable moment in patient history when a doctor gets what his patient is feeling and is able to reflect that back in a meaningful way.
I am glad that you are on track for healing and he doesn't see any reason why it shouldn't recover. He does sound very methodical in his approach and that must make you feel better too.

I've been looking everywhere to see if you'd posted about what happened, glad i found it at last :D thats good news that he's thoughtful and knows what you're feeling , why cant all doctors be like that?? Its great he said that all will be healed in 6 weeks Image Image that could be the end of all your butt troubles then!

Thanks buds :heart7: Image :heart7: !!! I just have to hold on hope now but pain is the same during BM - almost like fissure level and it is no fun , as we all know :( . I just picked up my Lido cream, will see if it makes it more bearable Image I still wish he did put stitches Image - I would be out of the woods now Image , but who knows ... maybe not .. I just can't beat myself over the had any more with "ifs" and "buts" and "maybes" . I decided to not do any additional surgery (unless emergency) if it proves to bee needed after all , till after the all holidays pass - just can not make my family go through one more season of hell again.
So, I will just be praying that I heal after all - if not , in January I will go for other CRS Image .
Hope you are all doing well. Love you and :thinkofyou: always !!!

I think it is a good idea to give our butts a rest from too much intervention too. Sometimes I wonder if I had too many cuts down there and that is making the healing slower.
Try not to go back and wonder about the past and if you should or shouldn't have done something. I do that too but it doesn't matter since the decision was made and I have to work with what I have now.
You look fabulous in your photo. So happy and pretty! Looks like you are playing around with special effects. Good job!!!

Hi my sweet friends Image !!!!
Just to say  while I lay here with chamomile on my butt -soooo fun LOL :macarena: !!!! He he...
Lecia -baby- yes, that is absolutely true. I am trying to concentrate on the future and imagine it pain free lol, what else I can do at this point Image That is why I posted this photo LOL, it was taken just 4 days before my surgery and I have to look at it and believe that if once it was possible for me to have a pain free day, it will happen in the future too Image :chore: Image. It is just so exhausting to live either in the past or in the future while life s happening right NOW Image Image !!!!!! OK, I feel better now that I let the steam out Image Image !!! I hope it is a good day for you today sweetie xoxox!!!
Jo - thanks buddy for liking my photo - you look great as Cleopatra
Image Image Image, are you sure you were not one in some of the past lives Image ??? Do you like Halloween as much as most of us sillies here LOL ??? What will you be this year Image ? I hope you feel great and that Jared is doing well Image !!! Image
My "Tubby" - hey babe what's up ??? Image I see our "codes" get longer and longer Image - soon we will write only using them Image
Thanks buddy for the Image Image - you know how much I appreciate it Image. Hey , guess what - I had a cig yesterday LOL- washed my patio and found an old pack left after once long ago friend's visit (before I became boring with my butt problems, you know lol), and just set under umbrella and puffed it out laughing - it was sooooooo dry and old Image ,
I had to take a mint gum just to finish it Image. And I thought - "Oh, this is how humans actually enjoy themselves sometimes Image !!!???"Anyway, was a moment of sanity ...or insanity ...who cares Image Image
Pinky - I read on another thread that you are in pain today again Image Image Image - I am so sorry ! Yes, having to go so many times now is the least thing you need :( - but it is inevitable with antibiotics and no wonder it burns - it burns healthy butt, imagine one with a wound :( . Yes, try some yogurt and probiotics to regulate your gut's flora , although, sometimes we just need to be patient and survive that course of meds Image .
How I keep my butt clean - OK - I am one of the rare ones here , maybe the only one that cleans it to that extant - but I noticed same thing - after soak - "things" still can be found and I don't see how it can help in any way to stay there so I take it away. I use a mirror - squat above it , prepare bunch of q-tips and a plastic bag or big paper or anything else that you might want to use as a "trash receptacle" by your side, so you do not need to get up and stuff. I dip q-tip in chamomile tea or anything "neutral" - can be even water , but I believe in herbal healing powers LOL. This time around I used even that Balneol cream - you might try some baby all natural cream or even Aloe gel (BUT IT HAS TO BE fragrance and preservative free - all natural and organic or even just Aloe juice - I don't know what is available in UK, so I think of this off the top of my head - just to give you ideas.) It just needs to moisten the tip - so it glides nicely , and touch your but as gently as you can of course. Lean the q-tip to the side, so you make small sweeping motion from center of the anus to the side - throw each q-tip after each single move!!!! You will end up with about 10 soiled q-tips and very nice pink and clean anus . I than dip a cotton round in chamomile tea with white oak drops and stick it gently between my "cheeks" - it cools the wound and again - those herbs have anti-inflammatory properties. I than lay on my belly for 10-20 min , just to give some rest to my butt and than take it out and apply healing cream that I make myself- that is what I call "my lab work" LOL. Anyway - this is optional and I did it both times and I believe it helped - but who knows Image.
I mix baby butt cream that is made of fish oil and vitamins A+D - and that
is how it is called here - A+D cream. I add vit . E drops , Cantharion drops (St. John - tincture in olive oil), some Aloe gel, some Nitro cream and now MEBO cream too. Mix it all with spatula on small plate and apply it after every soak. It helps with healing and keeping the "debris" off the anus after defecation. NOW - you have people who keep the anus absolutely dry after soaks, drying it even with hair-drier !!! And it works great for them !!!! You have to find what makes you feel good and helps YOU. We are all different. Since you had infection, I would now stick just with soaks,
cleaning with chamomile and such - Image and when you are sure that infection is gone you might want to try extra help. Foe me my creams make major difference in comfort level. By the way - I was advised to clean myself with Balneol by my second CRS, and to use Vaseline by my first CRS, so I assume that in general crams should not be source of additional problems unless you develop sensitivity to them. But, I stick with mostly natural ingredients and I never had a problem. I really wish that my butt FEELS as good as it looks - by looking at it one will not even guess I had a surgery just 2 weeks ago or even had one ever for that matter Image Image Image (gremlin code *&({-+**+++}^&*(&^%^)
Best of luck Pinky!!! Try at least to put some Vaseline before BM, to protect your poor anus from acidity of the poop Image !
LOVE TO ALL - Image Image :sprinkleheart:
