I have moved things here...I suddenly became aware that I have hijacked Tabby's thread - sorry Tabby Image

Thanks Juney :) Is yours big or small? Do you think it comforts you when you are down? Whenever I see my cats I smile inside, I really am crazy about cats (and dogs...)
Since I got celiac disease bananas have been life savers for me. I have lived on them on holidays, or whenever I have been hungry and not been able to get gluten free food. I also know that they are very healthy.
When others have told me that it could be constipating I haven't understood what they talked about, but I haven't had constipation issues for about 14 years. Now I have experienced it to cause formed stool, so I avoid it for that reason...but as soon as I am able to I will eat it again - because it is healthy.
Also when I have had accidents and eaten food with gluten (= diarrhea, stomach pain, etc.) I have always eaten bananas and they soothe stomach pain and calm down things a bit. It has been like "medicine" for me :) so I love them!
Pinky I will have manometry on Tuesday. My CRS called me now, and he said that he would be ready to give me Botox then - if it is necessary. So now I am both excited and scared...but it will be good to have a check up and know how things are down south.
Haven't bled for two days, and I have swopped breakfast with smoothies to get softer BMs.

corsi, how is your pain?thats a better indicator than bleeding.i wasnt aware bananas were constipating until it was mentioned on this forum.ive always hated bananas and never ate them until i got the fissure.it has fibre and very healthy and soothing for the tummy.ive stopped eating them now as i dont want to have firmer stools as you all say.im sticking to melons and plums for now.
hope the botox has worn off and manometry will give accurate results this time.take care Image
