Yeah, it sounds like a possible GI thing. Do you feel weak or achey at all?

Cheryl - thanks for the input. I stopped taking Relafen thinking that it might be causing it now after a month on being on it Image
Val buddy :( - it is high up blow he diaphragm and I am almost 100% sure it is a stomach. Than , since food is not digested properly whole guts react probably - I have some "flashing" pains in different parts of the belly , left lower side ( no organs there Image except intestines), than a middle
of he belly too. But if I press, the only place that really reacts with pain is the place where the stomach is situated. I also feel food going up little bit - I guess it is reflux Image . My hubby is on the business trip and I can not drive this way. Kids are at school Image and will be back around 7 pm and 8 pm respectfully ...so I crawl around from the bathroom to the kitchen to make some tea to the sofa and than again :(
Tubby sweetness- yes, I will try to rest and make my tummy warm and comfy - how did your IBS went away ? Does any of this looks like something that resembles IBS to you Image ?
Lecia-baby - thanks for jumping in - I feel achy from my fibro for days now - so hard to tell if anything new is gong on in that respect
Image Image Image - but it surely caught me off guard - I am not ready for something NEW on top of it all Image Image Image - but again, who could be Image . I WANT OUT OF MY BODY Image - PLEASEEEEEEE !!!!!
LOVE TO ALL :heart7:

Hey cherub
Please don’t worry about IBS ! I really think your tummy is out of balance and that is all - you need good routine and good food !
Do drink some hot teas I know you do fruity and so do I when I have my IBS tummy on, deep breathing and try moving your tummy by breathing , it will help with the pain of your tummy, This is just a phase I am sure of it Image
My IBS stayed with me for a very long time to begin with and over time I managed it with good routine , food and pslyilm, then my life saver , I was symptom free for a long time but gradually slipped back into my old routine, now my IBS comes in times of stress and more stress = fissure I suppose ! Image
Keep cosy !

:( Oh fissy dear,so sorry to know your tummy hurts.pain below the diaphragm seems like gastritis.does the pain worsen after eating or exertion?do you have nausea, heartburn, belching?it will hurt if you press the epigastric region, thats just below the diaphragm.do you have any other symptoms?you can try some gaviscon which gives good relief if your pain is mild.you can try proton pump inhibitors like lansaprazole or pantaprazole which is very effective.my sis says she thinks its available over the counter in the US.she's not sure though.ive used lansaprazole and it helped me a lot.are you taking any NSAIDS for pain relief?they are the culprits for gastric pain.first of all,eat at regular intervals and bland and soft food.egg white, cold milk and bananas helped me a lot.sleep in a slightly upright position and most important, dont stress as it worsens it.
If the pain worsens or you have other symptoms, please see a doctor soon.
relax and rest well.hope you feel better soon Image

Yes, gaviscon helps me when I have tummy aches. I noticed when I got off Ibuprofen (similar to Relafen) I too got diarrhea. I wonder if there is a connection? Your body could be going through a sort of withdrawal.
Can you ask a friend to pick the girls up for you? Or send a taxi over? I have had pain like that and it can be excruciating. I had to do Lamaze breathing. I also chewed some gum to see if that would help and it did a little bit.
Have you had any fat today? If I eat too little fat my stomach hurts tryin to digest the food particularly if I had a lot of fiber.

OK Tabby - buddy Image - I will try to relax about IBS . I will try breathing ( how long I should do that and how many times a day ? ) What food helped your poor tummy Image ? I can only imagine how hard it was, my sweet friend Image - I have stomachache today and am "bent over" , it must be dreadful to have it on daily bases :( . Do you think I should take some Metamucil now after brunch too, or you took it once a day ? Fissure is MAJOR stress - buddy - I developed heart arrhythmia over it - do I need to tell more :( .
Hang in there buddy - we have to survive all of this craziness !!!!!! Image XOXOXOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
PINKYYYYYY - so nice to hear from our very private doctor here Image Image !!! Yes, I was taking Relafen for a month now - it as an NSAID and I stopped taking it today since I also thought that it bugger could do this to me Image . I will probably need couple of days or weeks to regenerate my stomach lining now and proton pump inhibitors sound a good idea. Yes, they are OTC now in USA - I will try lover dose since they can cause constipation sometimes Image . I will follow your diet instructions and yes - I definitely need to relax or I will just produce more acid and more peristalsis and cramping !!!!
Thanks so much for your concern and help Image - I hope you are doing well today !!!
Lecia - sweetness - thanks for trying to help your Fissy Image !!! What is Gaviscon baby ? Is it same as Prilosec or something different ? Is it OTC? I have nobody that can pick younger up - older drives but has midterm exams today so can not leave the campus. I hope this will subside to the point that I can drive - thanks God I do not need to use expressways to reach her. You know, I just gave up on my "friends" - actually - they all think that I am just "spoiled brat" and pretend all of this - you know how it goes buddy - if they can not SEE your illness - they assume you are just "cry baby" , so I got fed up with inappropriate comments and jokes and completely avoid them even when they try to come now - so I would rather crawl to my daughter that ask any of them for any help Image .
I was also thinking about fats and added some coconut oil into my oatmeal too ! How interesting that we came up with the same assumption
that some fat might be missing. I stopped using fish oil since it is blood thinner and my periods are crazy , so...this might help -hopefully. It was agreeing with my tummy before very well, that is why I remembered it this morning and used it !
THANK YOU ALL AGAIN for all the wonderful advices and support - I now have full arsenal of things to do and try and am sure something will help !!!!
LOVE TO ALLLL Image :heart7: Image

Lay down and breathe/massage/hotbottle every time you have this pain , deep breathing will relax the pain, my tummy goes to rock sometimes that is the worst, I breathe so deeply moving my tummy in and out, sometimes a hand on the tummy is good too, get into the vibe !
Hot bottles really help my tummy I have one here most nights sometimes on my butt sometimes my tummy , it helps !
Going back to the psyllium fissure free days – I took psyllium with added probtiocs, it said to take 10g/ 1 tablespoon twice daily which I did for 2 weeks then I lowered the does to 5g and life was great ! My mistake was thinking I didn’t need it anymore !!! Image
One day Fissy I will be back on the good stuff !
Hope you feel better in the morning Image
Goodnight

Fiss,
I think dyspepsia is about as bad as AF. There are meds that can help. One of my docs suggested Tums or MOM for that type of stomach pain. Tums can constipate, but I think that is what you were wanting!!

Poor girl, stomach ache as well as fissure pain Image
I have had episodes with uncontrollable diarrhea as a result of my disease. Food that can help harden the stool are: bananas, boiled rice, blueberry, etc. I guess you know this already. Especially boiled rice helped me...it is very calming.
I hope you have a bug that will go away asap!
Are you taking a lot of things like medicines, fiber, laxatives, etc.? My stomach/digestion reacts badly on medicine, and I get stomach pain and BM problems.
We are different all of us Fissy, and different things work for different people...maybe you are fed up with all our advice :)

Thanks girls Image !!!!
Ha ha, I ma never fed up with suggestions and advices - actually I always embrace anything anybody says and than decide what to try first , than second , than ... and so forth . The more suggestions I have - the more options I have ! Image
It is definitely not a bug but my stomach is overproducing acid and I started taking Prilosec this morning since Pepcide AC helped yesterday - that was my test . Why is it out of balance is now different story and I think Relafen "helped" in that respect among the other things Image . I stopped using it and I included Metamucil and it made major difference in stool formation - I went "only" 3 times yesterday - what a relief !!!!! I felt like new person - oh my God !!! Even that strange urge to go constantly disappeared (KTW !!!!!) - it is amasing what extra acid can do to our COMPLETE GI !!!!!
Today I still have some ache in my stomach and some on that lower left side but nothing even close to yesterday - thank you Lord Image . I will see if Prilosec helps 100%, if not I will go to GP next week !!!
Thanks again to everybody that tried to help - it was greatly appreciated Image :heart7: Image
